A strong run by the 4 x 400m team propelled the Wolves Women’s team to a third place finish in the team standings at the ACAC #1 MacEwan Open Indoor Track Meet in Edmonton on Saturday.
The quartet of Janai Martens, Brittany Duvall, Maria Houle, and Kelsey Bishop clocked a time of 4:26 to take second behind MacEwan University in the 1600 relay. Andrea Snider also chipped in a meaningful way placing 3rd in the 3000m and 4th in the 1500m.
The Wolves men placed fifth overall led by Brandon Wladyko’s first place run in the 3000m. Wladyko established a new personal best time of 9:31.10 in the race.
Next up for the Indoor Track Wolves is the ACAC 2 race in Calgary on February 12.
