By virtue of the current situation I have decided to start our OFF-SEASON period or as I prefer calling it “TRANSITORY PERIOD” (effective immediately). This period may take between 2 and 3 weeks. I am NOT going to post any specific workouts but you should run at least 3 times a week (~30min), and AT THE MOST four times a week (~40min); these runs should be done at A0/A1. We will OFFICIALLY resume our activates on April 6, 2020. The workouts will likely take place outside in small groups.
The Peace Country Wolves Athletics Club (PCWAC) is the Peace Country’s competitive track & field and x-country running club.
Located in Grande Prairie, AB the club has members from ages 15 to 50+, who primarily compete in middle and long distance running.
Training Schedule (from Jan 06 to Mar 19)
Mondays -7:00 a.m. Strength and Conditioning (HPTC) *only wolves/ 4:00 easy run
Tuesdays 5:00 p.m. (Track)
Wednesdays – 7:00 a.m. Strength and Conditioning (HPTC) *only wolves/ 4:00 easy run
Thursdays – 5:00 p.m. (Track)
Fridays – 12:00 p.m. easy run
Saturdays – 10:30 a.m. (Track)
*Note: we meet at the college @ 4:30 (Tue and Thu) and @ 10:00 (Sat) we carpool to Crosslink Centre
** Note: Mondays and Wednesdays were split into two practices. Only Wolves are supposed to attend 7:00 a.m. (strength and conditioning). The easy runs are not compulsory but recommended instead.
