Registration for the 2016 Peace Country Classic on Saturday, May 14, Grande Prairie’s annual all comer’s track meet, is now open.
This year’s Classic is actually three different meets in one
- The Grande Prairie Kid’s Meet for children in Grades 1 to 3 and Grades 4 to 6.
- The NW Zone Alberta Summer Games Track and Field Trials for Peace Country residents ages 13 to 17 who wish to try out for the Alberta Summer Games taking place in Leduc, July 14-17.
- The Peace Country Classic All Comers Meet for everyone else – athletes of all ages and abilities are encouraged to enter.
New this year!
We’ve simplified things by aligning our PCC categories (i.e. Midget, Youth, Open) with standard Athletics Canada categories and specifications. Also for your convenience, we will be using online registration through Trackie.Reg (Note: You have the option of paying online OR paying by cash or cheque on the day of the meet.)
Complete information about the meet, including schedule of events and registration instructions, is available on the Peace Country Wolves Athletics Club site (www.wolvesac.com).
