Eleven GPRC Wolves took to the streets of Vancouver on Sunday and recorded a number of impressive performances.

Devin Woodland was the top Grande Prairie runner in the Half Marathon finishing 17th in a personal best time of 1:19.19.   Eric Martinek recorded a time of 1:22:08 in placing 31st.  Gabrielle Boulet-Frattini and Liz “Kate Middleton” McGregor also finished the half marathon, posting times of 2:00:45  and 2:10:34 respectively.

In the 8 km event, Fiona Benson led the way for the Wolves finishing 3rd among the women in a time of 30:11.  Other Grande Prarie finishers included Roland Esposito (36:09 ) The Lovely Sara Scott (37:32),  Vanessa Besharah (40:14), Linnea Saltel (42:19), Jessica Martinek (42:47), and coach Rick Scott (47:19).

Other Grande Prairie runners posting results included Candace Whittal 1:43:02 in the Half Marathon and Tina McLean 5:40:42 in the Full Marathon.  Fiona Benson’s sister Amy recorded a 3:24:12 in her debut marathon.
