The 41st annual Festival of Gold, GPRC’s athletic awards night, took place on April 12, and a number of Wolves runners were recognized for accomplishments this season.
Fiona Benson had a huge night winning two major awards: Top Academic Athlete (Tournament Sports) and Female Athlete of the Year (co-winner with Andria Carylon, Womens Basketball.) Fiona joins former Wolves runners Steph Ruch (1999-00), Jessica Schmidt (2002-03), and Penny Thompson (2005-06) as a winners of the GPRC Female Athlete of the Year.
Benson was also recognized with a pair of Cross Country team awards: Female MVP and Top Track and Field Athlete.

Male MVP – Devin Woodland
Team “Guy” Award – Carly Pura and Donald Meurs
Gurevitch and Headon Scholarship – Mandy Matier
Logan Boehmer, a dual sport athlete in basketball and cross country, was also recognized by Mens Basketball as winner of the Heart and Hustle Award.
