
Brandon Wladyko placed 20th at the 2017 CCAA National XC Championships
Wolves runner Brandon Wladyko ran his best race of the year and was rewarded with a 20th place finish at the 2017 CCAA National XC Running Championships in Laval, PQ on Saturday.
Wladyko registered a personal best time of 26:51 for the 8 km course. He improved 13 places from his 2016 finish at CCAA Nationals.
Collectively, the Wolves men placed 20th in the men’s team standings. Other GPRC athletes completing the race included Eric Nooy (98th), Kyle Reynolds (125th), and Jarred St Arnault (127th).
The previously unranked Wolves women’s team had a strong day registering a 13th place finish as a team. Rookie Kelice Bulas led the way with a 28th place individual placing. Team mates Kailey Bratland (61st), Anna van der Geissen (73rd), Brittany Duvall (96th) and Kelsey Bishop (124th) were the other Wolves finishers.
