Brandon Wladyko placed 20th at the 2017 CCAA National XC Championships

Wolves runner Brandon Wladyko ran his best race of the year and was rewarded with a 20^th place finish at the 2017 CCAA National XC Running Championships in Laval, PQ on Saturday.

Wladyko registered a personal best time of 26:51 for the 8 km course.  He improved 13 places from his 2016 finish at CCAA Nationals.

Collectively, the Wolves men placed 20^th in the men’s team standings.  Other GPRC athletes completing the race included Eric Nooy (98^th), Kyle Reynolds (125^th), and Jarred St Arnault (127^th).

The previously unranked Wolves women’s team had a strong day registering a 13^th place finish as a team. Rookie Kelice Bulas led the way with a 28^th place individual placing.   Team mates Kailey Bratland (61^st), Anna van der Geissen (73^rd), Brittany Duvall (96^th) and Kelsey Bishop (124^th) were the other Wolves finishers.
