Hayden Hollowell had a great meet at the 2017 AA Provincial Indoor Track Age Group Championships on the weekend

The pride of Hythe, AB (aka Hayden Sanchez Hollowell) was the top local performer at the Athletics Alberta Provincial Age Group Indoor Track Championships in Edmonton on the weekend.

Hollowell placed second in both the Senior Men’s 1500m (4:14) and 3000m (9:12).

Valleyview’s Aimee Caron and Beaverlodge’s Kobe Grocholski were just off the podium with 4th place finishes.  Caron did the trick in the Youth Girls 60m Hurdles (9.96) while Grocholski barely missed the bronze in the Midget Boys 2000m ( 6:28). Grocholski  also placed 9th in the 1200m (3:41).

Grande Prairie’s Brandon Tufford also took part in the meet.  He finished 8th in the Junior Men’s 600m (1:29) and 7th in the 1500m (4:24).
