Grande Prairie’s Ladon Dunbar made a bold move in the final 3 kms to break away from a 4-man pack and win the featured 21 km distance at the Don’t Get Lost in the Woods Trail Races at the Wapiti Nordic Trails on Sunday.

Dunbar covered the distance in 1:31:24, 3 seconds ahead of Tanner Broadbent.  Scott Goosney placed third.  Other winners included

Womens 21 km  Lisa Lauzon   1:49:49

Mens 10 km Josh Malmstem   48:05

Womens 10 km   Julie Forbes   58:52

Boys 3 km   JP Puszka   12:44

Girls 3 km  Megan Hopkins  15:06
